Whitney Houston and her family could be fans of birthday cake gift hampers, a stunt the singer pulled this week suggests.
The diva surprised her 17-year-old daughter by inviting her on stage during a show in Australia on Wednesday night, before presenting her with a surprise birthday cake.
Bobbi Kristina was then treated to a rendition of Happy Birthday by an audience of over 12,000 spectators at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
Houston also dedicated the song Who Would Imagine a King, from the album The Preacher's Wife, to her only child before bestowing the tasty present.
It recently emerged that another cake-eating practice has been happening at live performances, as visitors to the Theatre Royal have been adhering to a tradition laid down by stage actor Robert Baddeley in his will - that the audience consumes cake and wine during showings of Twelfth Night at the West End venue in London.
