Former X Factor star Diana Vickers might like to receive a gift hamper as it has been reported that the singer has recently been drinking wine.

According to Mr Paparazzi, Ms Vickers was sipping the drink in an Italian restaurant in London as she celebrated learning that she was top of the pop charts.

Her debut single Once has gone straight into the number one position and she was spotted marking the occasion at the eatery with a number of friends.

The song knocked American performer Usher from the top spot as her recording sold 40 per cent more copies than her closest rival.

She was photographed leaving the Radio 1 studios with a bag of doughnuts that she had purchased from Harrods.

Last week, it was reported that Auckland in New Zealand will play host to the 2010 Air New Zealand Wine Awards dinner in November later this year.
