Wine that hails from South Australia uses styles and flavours to express the quality and history from across the state.

That is the view of Director of Wine Australia UK and Europe Lisa McGovern, who made the comment after she announced a new promotion will be taking place in London.

Wine hamper fans will get the opportunity to taste an array of products from South Australia, as more than 40 brands will feature in a campaign being launched in Harrods.

Ms McGovern said she is delighted to have the chance to introduce fine wines from South Australia to such a wide audience.

A tasting session will be held in the London store on August 17th and the event will run until August 23rd.

Wine experts will be on hand to discuss the flavours of the many bottles on offer.

Luxury gift hampers often include international wines, including those from South Australia.

South African wines are frequently used and Kleine Zalze, Sauvignon Blanc can be found in many gift hampers.
