Stella McCartney may have received birthday hampers this week, as she turned 40 on Tuesday (September 13th).
The fashion designer held a party to celebrate last night and a host of stars turned out for the occasion.
Her father, former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney, was among them, as was U2 frontman Bono and his wife Alison.
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who could be in line to receive birthday hampers herself when she turns 40 next year, also turned out, as did the likes of Kate Moss, Kate Hudson and the latter's fiance Matt Bellamy.
Another star set to celebrate her 40th birthday is Dannii Minogue, with the Australian singer preparing to host several events to mark the occasion.
She told the Herald Sun this week she is "so excited" and will be having bashes in London and in Melbourne - giving friends and fans plenty of opportunity to shower her with birthday gifts.
