A first for the culinary world is edible spray paint which transforms a plain meal into a cacophony of colour. Called Food Finish, the cans come in four different colours - gold, silver, red and blue - and while the paint has no flavour itself, it can be applied to any food item for quirky, alternative presentation, the Daily Mail reports. How about a gold carrot, for example? Or next time you have a BBQ try spraying your sausages silver to jazz them up. Kaya-Line Knust, project manager at The Deli Garage company that created the sprays, said: 'We love to invent products that are fun and we develop hundreds of ideas but only a few can be placed onto the market - I'm thrilled that the spray food is one of the ideas that made it." If you're after a bright, colourful selection of food then look no further than a Regency Hampers fresh fruit basket. They are chock-a-block with nutrient-rich goodies including exotic fruit such as grapefruit, mango and kiwi fruit. Not only are these colorful hampers delicious, they are already so visually pleasing we don't need to use artificial sprays to entice you.
