Cristiano Ronaldo could be the recipient of a baby hamper to celebrate the birth of his son, who he has named Cristiano Ronaldo Jr.

The family of the Portugal and Real Madrid footballer revealed that the footballer has decided to name the baby after himself and that they are taking care of it while he holidays with girlfriend Irina Shayk.

"Cristiano chose the name but we like it. He looks like his father and like me. He has the same eyes. We don’t know the mother, we never met her," Ronaldo's sister Katia told reporters.

Portuguese newspapers have speculated that the baby is the product of a surrogate mother in Florida, while another rumour suggests the soccer star had a one-night-stand, but the family would not comment on the matter.

In an interview with ESPN, LA Lakers star Lamar Odom said that his reality TV star wife Khloe Kardashian will not be requiring a baby hamper after denying rumours that she is two months pregnant.
