A polo club in South Petherton might like to share a gift hamper as it has been reported that they have held a champagne tea party in aid of charity.
The Vaux Park Polo Club held an end-of-season tournament at its headquarters at Wigborough Manor before commencing with their bubbly-themed celebration, according to the Chard and Ilminster News.
Around £5,000 was raised at the event for the Somerset Air Ambulance.
An auction was held at the gathering, which included such prizes as a hot air balloon ride for two, salmon fishing on the River Dart, a holiday for four at Cottesmore Lodges in Surrey and therapeutic massages.
"We are thrilled and can't thank all of the guests enough for the extremely generous bids," said a club spokesman.
It was recently reported that X Factor singer Alexandra Burke celebrated the launch of her new single All Night Long with 200 friends and 500 bottles of Cristal champagne.
