This season's makeup trends see ladies move away from the heavy, dark looks usually associated with the cooler months of the year.

According to founder and editor of OrganicBeautySource.com Liz Thompson, the key look for this autumn/winter includes neutral, warm shades.

The expert recommended using a light shadow, brown eye pencil and a warm peach or pink blush teamed with nude, pink or plum lips.

Full, defined brows were also noted as a "must-have", with Ms Thompson encouraging ladies to use a brow pencil to help define and add thickness to brows.

"Go with a pencil that most closely matches your hair colour and apply in an outward, feathery motion. Remember: You are going for full and natural, not drawn on," the beauty specialist commented.
