Music lovers invited to Ragley Hall proms

Individuals looking for something to do this summer may want to consider packing a picnic hamper and heading to an outdoor music event.

Ragley Hall will be hosting the Battle Proms Open-Air Concert on August 18th, which will be the second year the event has been hosted.

Attendees are treated to an evening of music, displays and pyrotechnics during the two-hour concert, with performances given by the New English Concert Orchestra.

Meanwhile, soprano Denise Leigh will perform favourites from the Last Night of the Proms.

In addition, there will be a WWII Spitfire display, over 200 live cannons and fireworks set off to music.

Individuals of all ages are allowed to attend and people are invited to pack a picnic hamper and enjoy dining alfresco before the main evening's entertainment begins at 19:30 BST.

Ragley Hall is set in acres of parkland and the proms will event will take place alongside the lake.
