The Doctor might like to receive a gift hamper as it has been revealed a Doctor Who-themed cake has been created. Raunek Kantharia has posted a picture of the sugary treat on walyou.com. It is a representation of the Tardis from the television series and the writer has stated that although it may not be able to take people back in time, it can transport their memory back to their childhood. The cake has a large base, a blue phone box and two daleks. These are made using chocolate, fondant and gum paste and details are added to the robots using marzipan and coated rice krispies. "Run your imaginations free and decorate the base anyway you wish to", the writer advised. Doctor Who is a British science fiction series with a central character - The Doctor - who travels around in a spacecraft called the Tardis. The actor currently occupying the leading role is Matt Smith.
