Josh Groban announce wine collaboration
Published on 31/07/2012

Wine hampers may soon feature a bottle crafted by a famous singer who has announced his plans to dabble in the wine business.

Josh Groban's official website reports that the performer is to collaborate with a winery in Napa Valley, California.

The You Raise Me Up singer performed at the Robert Mondavi Winery on July 21st, with his headline act closing the annual Summer Concert Series.

This year marked the 43rd year in which a musical concert has been held at the winery.

Groban will now team up with experts at the wine company to help develop a new wine that will be released in 2013.

It is thought the beverage will be launched to coincide with the release of Groban's new album.

As well as You Raise Me Up, the performer is known for his tracks February Song, Higher Window and Hidden Away.

His self-titled debut album was released in 2001 and soon achieved double-platinum status.
