An independent wine merchant has won an award at the International Wine Challenge.
Caviste picked up the Regional Merchant of the Year Award for the south-east of England at the ceremony.
A panel of judges made the decision and the outlet's customer service, marketing strategies, store layout and wine list helped it win the honour.
Winemaker David Thomas said he is delighted to have bagged the prestigious award for the second time.
"It is a huge achievement to be recognised once again by our industry as being the best in our region and a great testament to the Caviste team who work so hard and our customers who support our shops," he added.
Caviste has four shops in Berkshire and Hampshire - in Overton, Hungerford, Newlyns Farm Shop and Stockbridge - and all stock a wide range of wines that often feature in luxury gift hampers.
A recent survey by supermarket chain Morrisons revealed wine fans have regional tastes, as those in the north-west prefer Chardonnay but individuals in the south-west tend to opt for Pinot Grigio.
