James Buckley, star of the hit comedy show The Inbetweeners, could be the recipient of several baby hampers after he and fiancee Clair Meek welcomed their first child into the world.

The 24-year-old and his partner are the proud parents of a baby boy after dating each other for the last ten months.

A source told the Sun that Clair was adamant that their child be born in Scotland and that the couple are delighted.

"They are the happiest people in the world. They are so thrilled and proud. The two of them are so in love and now they have a beautiful baby son," the insider revealed.

Buckley recently told Whatsontv.co.uk that he was excited about the prospect of becoming a father and that he was keen to be a hands-on dad.

The star added that many people seemed confused at the prospect of him having a baby as a result of his role in The Inbetweeners, however, he stated he is a man in his mid-20s and lives a relatively normal life off screen.

Stacey Solomon recently announced that she is expecting her second child, which could see her receive baby hampers in the not-too-distant future.
