Using organic products found in pamper hampers may not be the only way to improve skin health, as one expert has recommended boosting vitamin intake. Max Tomlinson, a naturopath, nutritionist, homeopath and medical herbalist, explained how vitamin C should be an integral part of an individual's diet, as it helps the immune system and "maintains the integrity of the skin". Meanwhile, vitamins E, A and plenty of zinc are also important for a healthy complexion, with pomegranates, blueberries and oranges noted as a great source of these ingredients. According to Mr Tomlinson, one product that has a highly negative effect on skin is sugar, with individuals encouraged to replace chocolate bars with naturally sweet treats such as blackberries and raspberries. The expert's comments follow a recent survey by SoBe V Water that revealed 61 per cent of people do not eat a healthy balanced diet, while 41 per cent of individuals eat no fruit or just one piece per day.
