A pharmacy is the north-east is not only offering its customers longer opening times, but has also provided customers with hampers containing health food.
The Hartlepool Mail reports how primary care service provider IntraHealth has launched new practice hours at the William Brown Centre in Peterlee.
In celebration of the announcement, customer Michael Turner was among individuals who received a free gift hamper when attending the pharmacy on the day of the launch.
Pharmacy Manager Paul Arnett said: "We will not only be delivering the traditional pharmacy model but looking to develop new ways of meeting patients' needs.
"I am extremely proud of the pharmacy team."
The centre will now be open from 07:00 GMT until 22:30 GMT from Monday to Saturday and from 09:00 GMT to 16:00 GMT on Sundays.
