Hot weather means barbecues for many people in the UK and the excellent summer temperatures of late have had the public rushing to supermarkets to stock up.
Many charity events taking place in the coming weeks will include a barbecue and one that is happening in Scotland soon is no different.
Possibilities East End Kids (PEEK) is putting on its Annual Family BBQ on Wednesday (July 31st) at Mugdock Country Park.
A raffle will be among the highlights of the event and hampers are up for grabs for those who buy a ticket for the prize draw.
Hampers are often a popular choice for this type of event, as they have something for everyone.
Some 300 parents and children from the east end and north of Glasgow have already confirmed their attendance for the PEEK event, which is being supported by PwC. Hampers will be given out to three families who take part in the raffle.
Let's hope the weather holds out for the charity's annual summer barbecue event.
