Camel Valley Wines in Cornwall was handed the Sparkling Rose Trophy at the gala and picked up the English Sparkling Trophy for its 2008 Pinot Noir Rose Brut.
Other British winners on the night included Marks and Spencer for its South African Brut Natural from 2007 and Waitrose, which gained recognition for its Champagne Brut NV product.
However, France was the nation that produced the most trophy-lifting drinks, as their vineyards collected a total of 21 gongs between them.
Another wine spectacle to be taking place in London in the upcoming months is the Cheese and Wine Festival, which will be happening between October 15th and 17th at the Southbank Centre.
