A luxury hamper is among a host of prizes the organisers of a charity fun day are hoping will attract dozens of revellers. Head coach and founder of Elite Coaching Academy Anthony Filipek will host the family day out at Hindley Leisure Centre between 11:00 and 13:00 BST on July 29th, the Leigh Journal reports. All proceeds raised at the event will be donated to the Alzheimer's Society, which aims to raise awareness and funds for research into dementia. According to the organisation, there are currently 800,000 people in the UK living with dementia. The fun day will feature bouncy castles, a magic show, children's entertainers, football activities for adults and a tombola. Aside from the hamper, prizes will include a tour of Manchester United's football stadium, the Bolton Wanderers ground and a Frankie and Benny's voucher. Mr Filipek said: "We are looking to attract over 250 people to this fun, family event."
