A special hamper prize draw is among the highlights of a coffee morning to be held at a local house of worship. Wilton Parish Church will be welcoming members of its congregation and the wider public to an event to be held at the church on Saturday (November 24th), the Hawick News reports. Between 10:00 GMT and midday, there will be tea, coffee and biscuits served in the hall, as well as a crafts stall for attendees to browse. Reverend Lisa-Jane Rankin commented: "It's always a good day with some super hampers and we enjoy welcoming people into our lovely hall." The event will kick off the start of a busy period for the church, with the next occasion scheduled for December 2nd. There will be an advent songs of praise celebration held at the venue at 18:30 GMT, with members of other churches and the Salvation Army joining the Wilton Parish congregation.
