People who enjoy receiving gift hampers might want to get themselves down to an event that celebrates the best in British horticulture.
The Chelsea Flower Show runs between May 25th to 29th this year at the Royal Hospital and television presenter Alan Titchmarsh has been praising the festival to the Daily Telegraph.
Titchmarsh has been hosting the BBC's coverage of it for the last 28 years and is still excited by the prospect, the newspaper reports.
Speaking of the intricacies involved in preparing the gardens, he said: "Within their imagined parameters they are perfection."
He has twice won awards at Chelsea, once in 1983 when he was awarded a Silver Gilt for a "simple family" outdoor area and he claimed gold two years later with a "country kitchen" effort.
The event is put on by the Royal Horticultural Society - a gardening charity that is dedicated to advancing horticulture and has a goal of helping people share its passion for plants.
