Gift hamper drink Grant's whisky launches TV advertising campaign

Grant's whisky will feature in a new TV advertising campaign after a 15-year break.

Bosses at the luxury brand - which is often featured in luxury Christmas hampers - have signed a sponsorship deal with Piers Morgan Life stories, Harpers Wine & Spirits reports.

Marketing controller for dark spirits at First Drinks James Stocker said the deal "will demonstrate our commitment to Grant's whisky".

He claimed the move will ensure Grant's whisky, which has enjoyed strong growth in recent months, ends the year on a high.

Adverts for the tipple will be shown either side of all commercial breaks and five, ten and 15-second break bumpers will also be on at the beginning and end of the prime time TV show.

Retail outlets that sell Grant's whisky will also be involved with the advertising campaign and will display promotional materials and shelf markers.

In 2009 Grant's whisky won Gold at the International Wine and Spirit Competition and in the last three years the distiller has bagged more than 50 awards.
