England is becoming a hotbed of grape-growing this summer, which could see more wine hampers being purchased.
According to Horticulture Week, while France and Spain are the traditional locations for good wine, small-scale vineyards in England are beginning to produce bottles which rival their European counterparts.
One such estate is the Frithsden Vineyard near Hemel Hempstead, run by Simon Tooley, which offers an "extremely good" white wine made from Solaris grapes, as well as rose options.
Mr Tooley suggested that sales of his wine will increase in the near future.
"We reckon that we will double our production over the next few years and we should start to break even soon after that," he told the website.
This Is Leicester recently reported that wine growers have predicted dry and warm weather this summer will make 2010 a great year for producing the beverage, which could be a boon for wine hamper lovers.
