A baby hamper donated to the East Anglia Children's Hospices (EACH) by Kate Middleton in December is due to enter an online auction on behalf of the charity.
The Duchess of Cambridge presented the body with the goodies - which include a blanket, teddy bear and tartan coat hangers - on the same day she announced her pregnancy (December 3rd).
Russell Baker, Lord of Little Moulton in South Norfolk, has organised the auction in order to raise £15,000 a day for the hospices and more than £5,000 so that they can "continue caring for and supporting local children with life-threatening conditions and their families", he told the Eastern Daily Press.
The Duchess is the royal patron of EACH - which has sites in Quidenham, Ipswich and Milton - and wanted to give something to the cause, despite the fact she was due to be hospitalised for acute morning sickness.
Online bidding for the baby hamper and other items will begin on January 12th, while the prize presentation night is to be held on June 6th at the Artique Gallery, tickets for which cost £10 per person.
