Fans of the singer Cher Lloyd may want to send the star luxury hampers to celebrate her alleged engagement.

The star is said to have accepted her boyfriend Craig Monk's proposal, despite the pair having only been dating for six months.

In an interview with the Sun, a source claimed Lloyd and the hairdresser have been engaged for several weeks.

The insider stated: "Cher's been telling anyone who will listen that she's engaged to Craig, despite originally denying the news."

Lloyd is said to have refuted claims she was planning to marry Mr Monk after she was spotted sporting a diamond ring on her wedding finger in December.

However, the source described the former X Factor contestant as eager to discuss her engagement as she is "head over heels" in love with her boyfriend.

After finishing fourth on the musical talent show, Lloyd went on to achieve a number one single with her debut song Swagger Jagger.
