Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are extending a stay in the UK beyond December this year and may receive Christmas hampers in south-west London over the festive season.

The two stars have chosen to remain in Blighty for six months longer than they initially intended after Angelina managed to secure a new role, the Sun reports.

She has held meetings with Oscar-winning director Danny Boyle, according to the news source, with a view to appearing in his new thriller.

A source said the pair, currently based in Richmond while Brad has been shooting zombie horror movie World War Z, "have really taken" to the area, along with their brood of six children, with the youngsters enrolled in local schools and visiting attractions in the capital with their parents.

"Brad and Angelina enjoy living in the UK and have really taken to Richmond," the source added, claiming that they now see it as their second home.
