A school in Somerset kicked off the festive season with a Christmas fair featuring a raffle, fancy dress and craft stalls. Westhaven School in Uphill invited pupils, teachers and friends and family members to attend its annual event. Those who went along to the fair were asked to embrace the fun atmosphere by donning festive outfits or fancy dress costumes. Visitors were invited to browse craft stalls that featured handcrafted reindeer and duck plant holders, while the raffle included a range of prizes including hampers and children's games. For those keen to get in the festive spirit, Hawkchurch Fete Committee will be hosting a Christmas Fayre on December 8th at the village hall in Sidmouth. According to the local Herald, there will be a variety of stalls selling cards, handcrafted gifts, jewellery, scarves, wooden toys, walking sticks and cakes. A Christmas raffle will also feature along with games for both children and adults.
