Chocolate hamper fans should take their time when eating the provision, one specialist has suggested. In an article for Bizcommunity.com, Ruth Cooper attended a Lindt chocolate workshop and said it was "quite a treat". She explained the session was hosted by chocolatier Dimo Simatos and he indicated the foodstuff - which is often featured in Christmas gift hampers - should be viewed as foreplay and not devoured in one go. "One should respect the chocolate and take it slowly, while allowing all five senses: sight, touch, sound, smell and taste, to appreciate the chocolate fully," he advised. Ms Cooper claimed the Chocolate Studio could be the ideal activity for those who enjoy the provision, as it explores a range of options from cake decorating to creating petit desserts. In a recent article in the Daily Telegraph, Dr James Le Fanu noted chocolate has many different health benefits. He commented it contains antioxidants and the stimulant it has also helps to protect arteries, while lowering blood pressure.
