Buying hampers can be an easy way of taking the stress out of gift shopping, as new research has showed people in the UK are increasingly content with their online purchases.

The report from ForeSee found that during the last 12 months, the overall satisfaction of internet transactions had increased by one per cent from an already high 72 per cent.

These figures continue the trend that people are finding it easier and more appropriate to purchase gifts online.

It is not surprising that individuals find shopping online a pleasing experience, as a few clicks could see a hamper delivered to a friend or business without ever having to step outdoors.

Larry Freed, chief executive of the group, said that it offered consumers everything they needed and many more will use the internet for their purchases in the years to come.

Buying hampers online could be even more straightforward in the future, as Ofcom suggests that more people will use smartphones to make their internet transactions.
