A young girl from Bolton has been busy baking cakes and putting together a pamper hamper for a raffle to help cancer sufferers.
Ten-year-old Delanie Lever - who is visually impaired - has raised more than £120 by selling a batch of homemade treats outside her home in Sharples and 115 raffle tickets, the Bolton News reports.
Her prize luxury hamper was made up of gifts donated to her by people rewarding her fundraising efforts and included items such as a bottle of wine, body butter, a back scrubber, chocolate and a bath bomb.
Delanie told the news provider she thought it was right to raise money for cancer victims as she has always wanted to help other individuals.
She added: "My mum knows a lot about people with cancer and I decided it was a nice thing to do. I might do something else to raise money in the future."
The charitable girl's mother Sarah is an employee at Bolton Community and Voluntary Services and stated she regularly talks to Delanie about the stories she comes across at work.
