The company behind Gordon's Gin have launched a £1 million promotional campaign in a bid to raise awareness of the beverage.
Diageo GB said it wants to keep the drink at the forefront of consumer's minds when they are purchasing such items over the festive period.
Marketing manager for Gordon's Alex Smith said the gin category has experienced strong growth so far this year.
He explained the firm are hoping to repeat last years "great Christmas" and the significant investment that is being put into the brand should ensure this happens.
The initiative will see celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey feature in a TV advertising scheme, while in-store activity will also be taking place in an attempt to highlight the beverage - which can often be found in Xmas hampers - as the perfect drink to serve when entertaining guests.
