Adele is likely to be spoiling her infant son rotten following the arrival of a luxury baby hamper delivered by her celebrity friend Jessica Alba.

The 24-year-old singer received the gifts from the 31-year-old actress during her stay in Los Angeles, although the name tag on the present was left blank due to the secrecy around the name of Adele's baby, the Daily Star reports.

An LA source told the news provider: "Jess organised a gift basket with baby creams, shampoo, luxury nappies, the sort of things Adele wouldn't want to traipse around LA looking for."

It was claimed that even after phoning round all of their mutual friends, Alba was unable to find out what Adele has called her child, who she gave birth to in October 2012.

Anyone who is thinking about ordering a special hamper online for someone with a newborn may want to ensure they know the name of the infant first, to make the gift more personal.

The Duchess of Cambridge recently donated a baby hamper to East Anglia Children's Hospices, which will be entered in an online auction on her behalf.
